Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of a test automation strategy covering unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Build, maintain, and use automated tests to provide coverage for features and releases.
- Improve automation frameworks to support new functionality and increase quality and efficiency.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with the CI/CD team.
- Troubleshoot testing issues, isolate defects, debug failures, and verify bug fixes.
- Partner with product management, development, and Quality Engineering teams to design modular and testable systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as TypeScript or JavaScript, plus strong scripting skills.
- Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and experience solving ambiguous problems and coordinating integrations across multiple teams.
