Responsibilities
- Plan, design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for API and backend services using RestAssured.
- Write and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs with comprehensive coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams on test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Review test automation code and mentor junior QA engineers.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Apply test automation best practices for maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Java and RestAssured for API automation.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG or JUnit, Maven or Gradle, and Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, and API documentation tools.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
