Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate an event-driven distributed execution engine for test and validation workloads.
- Architect asynchronous messaging, event streaming, distributed coordination, throughput, resiliency, elasticity, and observability.
- Own shared frameworks, execution orchestration, test data management, environment provisioning, and self-service platform tooling.
- Build AI-powered developer tools and agents for code generation, intelligent test generation, automated review, workload optimization, and self-healing automation.
- Set platform architecture and technical direction while evaluating emerging tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities.
- Mentor engineers on distributed systems, modern development practices, and AI-assisted tooling.
- Drive initiatives from concept through delivery and measurement, including continuous validation in CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience integrating AI coding assistants, copilots, autonomous agents, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered developer tools into engineering workflows.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale with event-driven architectures, messaging or streaming systems, and horizontally scalable services.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes and CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Technical depth in distributed systems and AI strategy, along with strong debugging, profiling, and performance analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and communicate clearly.
- Preferred: experience leading complex cloud-based SaaS applications, microservices, distributed coordination, high-throughput workload orchestration, contract testing, service virtualization, in-memory databases, and test containers.
