Responsibilities
- Gather, specify, and document product and control-system requirements.
- Design and implement embedded control systems for new and enhanced machine functions using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Test and debug control-system software to demonstrate requirements, optimize performance, and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with customers and partner teams to provide post-production support.
- Investigate customer issues, analyze data, and identify root causes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in embedded control-system software development.
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
- Knowledge of control systems, MIL and SIL, AUTOSAR architecture, software configuration tools, and software testing tools such as CANalyzer and CANape.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, communication, and cross-software-layer collaboration skills.
