Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to understand embedded system requirements.
- Develop firmware for embedded systems involving microcontrollers, sensors, and interface circuits.
- Write and maintain embedded software according to specifications and project deadlines.
- Support hardware/software integration and system-level debugging.
- Assist with testing, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded systems.
- Implement enhancements and resolve technical issues in existing products.
- Maintain documentation and code throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of embedded firmware or software programming experience.
- Experience with embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded hardware systems.
- Basic understanding of real-time systems and communication protocols including I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Experience with debugging tools and development environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies.
