Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver software and automated testing solutions.
- Drive end-to-end test automation for Digital Onboarding across new-to-bank and existing-to-bank client journeys.
- Lead software engineers and SDETs through testing, validation, troubleshooting, and software release cycles.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality testing code.
- Establish standards for secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, test acceleration, incident analysis, and root-cause analysis.
- Identify and automate remediation for recurring issues to improve application and system stability.
- Lead architectural and technical evaluation sessions with internal teams.
- Manage senior stakeholders through executive communication and presentations.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, and Playwright.
- Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the software development lifecycle and understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry technology systems and practical cloud-native experience.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and a team of automation testers, with strong influence, negotiation, and cross-organizational collaboration skills.
- Preferred payments business knowledge, including client-facing channels.
- Preferred strong test automation experience in QA or UAT.
