Base Salary
$104k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, bug-fix, and enhance legacy C++/MFC software.
- Architect and develop major new features and enhancements for pharmacy automation systems.
- Design and write high-speed backend code and multithreaded, distributed applications.
- Support major customers and troubleshoot difficult and complex software issues.
- Work across the software stack, including robot and conveyor controls, controllers, databases, user interfaces, and web services.
- Develop and support integrations with hardware interfaces, sockets, serial interfaces, and real-time PLC systems.
- Provide rotational on-call support during weekends and evenings.
Requirements
- Typically requires 4+ years of experience as a Windows software developer.
- Strong experience with Visual C++ and MFC, C# with ASP.NET and/or .NET Core, and MVC.
- Strong SQL experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or MariaDB/MySQL.
- Experience developing RESTful API services and multithreaded, distributed applications.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, test-driven development, and automated testing.
- Experience with service-oriented or microservices architectures, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, service monitoring, performance tuning, and testing tools is a plus.
- Experience with AngularJS, HTML5, React, WPF, WCF, MVVM, hardware interfaces, Windows administration, networking, VPNs, firewall configuration, and Beckhoff real-time control/PLC systems is valuable.
- Professional communication skills suitable for direct customer interaction and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant experience, is desired.
- Must be authorized to work in the US and able to travel up to 25%.
