Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, application modules, and core functionality for the Coolselector® platform.
- Develop and optimize engineering calculation engines, thermodynamic models, and product-selection logic.
- Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions in collaboration with HVAC experts, product specialists, and software engineers.
- Build maintainable, modular, and extensible software architectures.
- Ensure software quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous integration practices.
- Support releases, technical documentation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across several European Danfoss locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience developing engineering software, calculation tools, simulation applications, or technical software solutions.
- Strong software development skills using C#/.NET.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration technologies, thermodynamics, or engineering calculations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD environments, cloud technologies, or agile development methodologies is advantageous.
