Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative and portfolio management software in Python.
- Design, test, maintain, and improve core trading and research applications.
- Build computational libraries and API services for the digital wealth management platform.
- Extract data from various sources to support quantitative model development.
- Conduct portfolio optimization research, backtest strategies, and implement trading models.
- Collaborate with the team on software development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience in a quantitative finance area.
- At least 3 years of professional experience building large-scale applications or APIs in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative concepts, including applied statistics.
- Experience with TensorFlow, scikit, and NumPy.
- Experience with algorithm design or development and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Python API frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Knowledge of or interest in personal finance and economics.
- A master’s degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- Experience with AWS or Azure and containerization is preferred.
- Experience in financial services and developing behavioral finance or wealth management models is preferred.
- Familiarity with natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modeling, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing is preferred.
