Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative and portfolio-management software in Python.
- Build and maintain computational libraries and API services for the digital wealth management platform.
- Design, test, improve, and maintain core trading and research applications.
- Extract data from various sources to support model development.
- Research portfolio optimization, perform back tests, and implement trading models.
- Collaborate with the team on software development best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience in quantitative finance.
- At least 3 years of professional experience building large-scale applications or APIs in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or another relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative concepts, including applied statistics.
- Experience with TensorFlow, scikit, and NumPy.
- Experience with algorithm design or development and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Python API frameworks such as Django and Flask.
- Knowledge of or interest in personal finance and economics.
- Preferred: master’s degree or Ph.D.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or Azure, containerization, financial services, behavioral finance or wealth management, and financial modeling.
- Preferred familiarity with natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modeling, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing.
