Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize database performance through monitoring and tuning.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for future database requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, including performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers and system administrators on database-related concerns.
- Implement automation for repetitive tasks and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain best practices and documentation for database architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Performance Engineer.
- Expertise in PostgreSQL and proficiency in SQL.
- Basic knowledge of GraphDB, Kubernetes, and Linux is a plus.
- Professional experience with cloud hosting platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge of database architecture, replication, and optimization techniques.
- US citizenship required due to government support responsibilities.
