Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize software for data collection agents running on Windows, Linux, and Mac.
- Collaborate with UX designers, Product Managers, and engineers to translate requirements into intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
- Own software development from design and implementation through testing and maintenance.
- Develop automated tests and comprehensive test plans.
- Maintain and support SaaS products through periodic 24x7 on-call rotations and required stand-by or off-hours duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals, including memory management, CPU architecture and scheduling, filesystems, process lifecycles, and networking.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate feature delivery while maintaining quality.
- Professional experience developing software with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with assertion frameworks and automated regression-testing tools such as Mocha.
- Prior experience with data-intensive applications and/or data-stream processing.
- Experience working remotely across time zones.
- Strong communication, ownership, quality, and performance focus.
