Base Salary
$94k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, test, document, and implement complex software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and production issues.
- Analyze systems and recommend operational, policy, and procedural improvements.
- Prepare and install solutions by determining system specifications, standards, and programming requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, review teammates’ code, and apply software system design principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and potentially peer engineers.
- Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant education and/or experience.
- Four years of software development experience demonstrating technical depth in relevant disciplines or technologies.
- Two years of experience delivering technology solutions across the software development lifecycle, including leading code and design reviews.
- Basic understanding of Java, Go, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, cloud technologies, container images, production troubleshooting, and Git.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions and developing business acumen in operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends.
- Preferred experience with GitLab CI, Terraform, Docker or Podman, Go, Kubernetes, Helm, and Argo; AWS certifications and military experience are also preferred.
