Responsibilities
- Perform CNO reverse engineering and software development for network-based devices.
- Design, implement, and integrate tactical software solutions.
- Derive, document, and analyze stakeholder requirements.
- Port, modify, or augment existing toolsets.
- Create rapid prototypes for validation and user feedback.
- Deliver production-ready tools operating within mission constraints.
- Provide support for fielded software systems.
- Collaborate with analysts, operators, data scientists, and software engineers.
Requirements
- Hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Have 12 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience with a master's degree; four additional years of software engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- Be familiar with Unix-based systems such as BSD and Linux.
- Have experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices with Ghidra and/or IDA Pro.
- Have an in-depth understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
- Produce and modify software systems in C, C++, Python, and Assembly.
- Be familiar with Git, Subversion, Jira, and Confluence.
- Preferred qualifications include RTOS or Windows reverse engineering, experience with MIPS, POWER, or ARM processors, and programming experience in Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust, or Go.
- Preferred experience includes CNO software for Linux, Windows, or embedded applications; vulnerability research; exploit development; SIGINT collection and analysis systems; and production CNO capabilities and operations.
