Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced machine learning models for radar signal processing.
- Evaluate and implement machine learning and deep learning architectures for radar-based detection, classification, and tracking.
- Build end-to-end ML pipelines for data preprocessing, feature extraction, model training, validation, and performance optimization.
- Analyze raw and processed radar data across time-domain, frequency-domain, range–Doppler, and range–angle representations.
- Optimize models for real-time and embedded deployment with latency, memory, and power constraints.
- Translate research outcomes into scalable, real-world algorithms and support product development through validation and benchmarking.
- Review technical designs, research reports, and algorithm implementations, and contribute to coding standards and evaluation methodologies.
- Document work, provide training, participate in technical forums and workshops, and support technical interviews and candidate evaluation.
- Provide after-hours support and coverage.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of research experience developing machine learning models and applying statistics.
- Strong understanding of radar fundamentals and signal-processing concepts.
- Proven experience applying ML and deep learning techniques such as CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and classical ML to radar or similar sensing modalities.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus experience with NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.
- Ability to train, build, deploy, and manage machine learning models using platforms such as Google Colab or AWS.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, problem-solving, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with radar, perception, robotics, autonomous systems, sensor-data analysis, data augmentation, field testing, and measurable product impact.
- Publications, patents, or noteworthy technical contributions in machine learning or sensing technologies are preferred.
