Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and workflows to design manual and automated test cases.
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, end-to-end, manual, and automated testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Expand test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers.
- Identify, document, and triage defects with reproduction steps and root-cause insights.
- Use AI tools for test-case generation, defect analysis, automated test development, and test optimization.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams on software quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuously evaluate manual versus automated testing.
Requirements
- Experience manually testing web applications and testing APIs and data-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Strong SQL and data-validation experience.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and comfort using AI tools in the software development lifecycle.
- Preferred: experience with complex data-driven web applications and healthcare, health insurance, or Medicaid domains.
- Preferred: familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud environments, microservices architectures, and performance or load testing.
