Base Salary
$60k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in silicon bring-up, hardware validation, embedded software development, board bring-up, and system verification.
- Develop, debug, and maintain firmware and board-level control software.
- Automate test procedures, test cases, and data collection using Python.
- Process and analyze large, complex test logs and test data.
- Collaborate with silicon design and validation engineers to diagnose hardware and firmware issues.
- Support lab-based experiments and use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers for troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in embedded systems, firmware development, or hardware validation.
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing, deploying, and maintaining test automation tools, frameworks, and scripts.
- Expert proficiency in at least one scripting language used for test and data analysis, such as Python.
- Experience processing and manipulating large, complex test logs.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
- Understanding of software development principles, regression and integration testing methodologies, and the software development life cycle.
- Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and low-level interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, and SWD.
- Strong troubleshooting, analysis, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Mandatory experience in silicon validation.
