Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build ML compiler optimizations for EdgeTPU hardware and extend JAX and PyTorch to support high-performance compilation.
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve complex correctness and performance issues when deploying ML models on EdgeTPU.
- Design and implement compiler features and fixes addressing performance bottlenecks and hardware limitations.
- Partner with ML model owners to influence model architectures for efficient EdgeTPU execution.
- Own end-to-end project execution, including collaboration with stakeholders and management of priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, such as C++.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with compilers, including optimization or parallelization.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes compiler development for accelerator-based architectures, low-level software, CPU/GPU/TPU hardware, and ML model inference optimization on devices.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
