Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, efficiency, and best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues involving hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products and 1 year of software design and architecture experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- At least 2 years of experience working with embedded systems and device drivers.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Experience with memory subsystem bring-up, training, calibration, and validation, including DDR4/5, LPDDR4/5, or HBM.
- Preferred: Experience collaborating across SoC design, signal integrity, and platform software teams to root-cause hardware-software issues.
- Preferred: Experience with Palladium, Zebu, or FPGA-based pre-silicon emulation or simulation platforms.
- Preferred: Experience debugging low-level hardware-software interactions with logic analyzers or oscilloscopes.
- Preferred: Experience developing low-level bare-metal firmware or drivers in C or C++.
