Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop audio experiences on Pixel devices, integrating novel audio technology and models.
- Implement AI, human speech, and audio interface features.
- Collaborate with Audio Research and technology partner teams to integrate their offerings on Pixel phones.
- Develop features across codebases ranging from embedded systems to high-level OS applications.
- Deliver performant solutions in constrained embedded environments while balancing power, performance, latency, and user experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of software development experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Preferred experience with debugging tools and techniques.
- Preferred experience with Java or C/C++.
- Preferred experience designing consumer electronics, mobile devices, or wearable devices.
- Preferred knowledge of hardware architecture and understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and audio processing.
