Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop GPU graphics and compute technologies spanning the full GPU software stack.
- Create general solutions that minimize application- or device-specific workarounds across Pixel devices.
- Evaluate and bring up devices while defining GPU requirements for future product designs.
- Debug sophisticated user-mode and kernel-mode problems.
- Develop performance improvements and new features for kernel and user-space graphics drivers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in low-level systems programming languages such as C++ or C.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining device drivers that interface software with hardware.
- At least 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- At least 1 year of experience with GPUs or GPU architecture and its role in a system.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience writing or contributing to graphics drivers and optimizing GPU-accelerated applications.
- Preferred: proficiency in C++, GPU programming, Rust familiarity, and knowledge of mobile GPU architectures and mobile graphics optimization.
