Responsibilities
- Develop NLP and machine learning models for information search, recommendation, and legal-document analysis.
- Maintain and monitor machine learning models in production.
- Design conversational agents that help lawyers with research and drafting tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and product designers to identify product opportunities.
- Contribute to engineering strategy, internal knowledge sharing, best practices, and scientific-paper reviews.
- Participate in technical assessments and interviews as part of the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of classical and deep learning for data extraction and recommendation, ideally including hands-on LLM experience.
- Experience with natural-language search engines and inverted indexes such as Elasticsearch.
- Solid understanding of MLOps challenges and motivation to develop further in this area.
- Strong Python development and algorithm-design skills.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and in deploying scientific advances into production.
- Proficiency in French for working with French legal data.
- Willingness to learn about and develop expertise in legal documents; previous professional legal experience is not required.
