Responsibilities

  • Manage operations of a BSS system in a cloud environment.
  • Install systems and manage middleware upgrades.
  • Monitor business use cases using log files.
  • Operate, maintain, and support business-critical applications and infrastructure.
  • Perform on-call duties and maintenance during nighttime hours.
  • Use DevOps principles and support internal customers in a structured, communicative manner.

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
  • Experience operating, maintaining, and supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of Linux, Java, and Oracle Database in enterprise environments.
  • Experience with platform virtualization, VMware, Kubernetes, GitLab, GitHub, and GitOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with Git, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins.
  • Good written and verbal English skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player, self-organize, communicate effectively, and explore new topics.
  • Nice to have experience with multiple programming languages, ITIL incident/problem/change processes, and certifications in software engineering or Unix-based operating systems.
