Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, deploy, and continuously improve highly available applications in a 24/7 environment.
- Support the full application lifecycle from deployment through productive operation.
- Analyze and resolve complex production issues while improving system reliability, stability, and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and contribute to operational excellence.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, partners, and international engineering teams.
- Take ownership of business-critical services and participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and occasional weekend support.
Requirements
- Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Practical knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, or comparable container platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Good English communication skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Willingness to evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools and to participate in on-call support.
- Knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible, Kustomize, Maven, Java, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Oracle databases, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Red Hat Fuse, Quarkus, or certificate and secret management is advantageous.
- German language skills are advantageous.
