Responsibilities
- Design, operate, and maintain development and UAT environments with continuous availability.
- Manage and consolidate cloud environments for the zenga.hu platform.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and automate release, A/B testing, and canary build processes.
- Configure, maintain, and capacity-plan Kubernetes and AKS clusters.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop and operate monitoring and alerting systems with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Provide developer self-service tools for logs, environment information, and self-service deployments.
- Simplify infrastructure and improve its transparency and cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain performance testing infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams on operability and architecture matters.
- Evaluate and prepare the introduction of third-party services based on cost, integration, security, and sustainability considerations.
- Help coordinate penetration-testing projects.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
- Strong Kubernetes knowledge, including AKS, Helm, resource management, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Docker and container-based solutions.
- Experience with Azure PaaS and IaaS services, including AKS, ACR, Key Vault, VNet, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
- Experience developing Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Platform-level systems thinking, cost awareness, and the ability to make infrastructure optimization decisions.
- Ability to understand and proactively support developers' and testers' needs.
- Independence, initiative, and collaborative working style.
- Terraform experience with modules, state management, and remote backends is advantageous.
- Azure certification such as AZ-104 or AZ-400 is advantageous.
- AWS experience, GitOps experience with ArgoCD or Flux, and service mesh experience with Istio or Linkerd are advantageous.
- Kafka infrastructure, Elasticsearch cluster operations, FinOps, Azure cost management, and PostgreSQL high-availability experience are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and experience working closely with development teams are advantageous.
