Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform.
- Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyperscale cloud backend.
- Work with hardware-oriented systems at the console level.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance solutions.
- Automate infrastructure operations using common automation frameworks.
- Assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches in collaboration with specialist teams.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
- At least 4 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, and physical networks.
- Extensive infrastructure automation knowledge.
- Strong experience with Linux and network-related services.
- High customer focus and the ability to assess technical solutions.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of agile development processes.
- OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects are a plus.
