Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-availability backend services.
- Collaborate with product and UX teams to address requests and build reusable solutions for customers and stakeholders.
- Deliver secure, reliable, scalable, and highly available features and functions.
- Review code, provide best-practice feedback, improve readability, and anticipate technical issues.
- Own features end to end from design documents and reviews through acceptance testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot post-deployment production support issues and develop solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with backend technologies using Python or Java.
- Basic understanding of AWS services.
- Experience with version control tools and processes such as Git.
- Understanding of continuous delivery for cloud-based software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
