Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced manipulation algorithms for humanoid robots.
- Develop and optimize the manipulation pipeline, including perception and motion planning.
- Implement robust control strategies for precise manipulation tasks.
- Integrate the manipulation pipeline with the humanoid robot's whole-body controller.
- Develop digital-twins for algorithm development using simulators.
- Conduct rigorous testing in simulated and real-world environments.
- Collaborate with the machine learning team to train and deploy models for manipulation tasks.
- Stay updated on the latest research in manipulation techniques.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in robotics with a focus on control and manipulation.
- Strong background in motion planning, control theory, and optimization.
- Expertise in implementing advanced manipulation algorithms.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and relevant robotics libraries.
- Experience with trajectory optimization libraries.
- Familiarity with modern deep learning techniques for manipulation.
- Experience with computer vision algorithms and sensors.
