Base Salary
$112k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and product managers across the project lifecycle.
- Participate in technical design, whiteboard sessions, and engineering solution discussions.
- Conduct rapid experiments to test new insights and iterate on solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy clean, efficient, production-ready code.
- Improve search and data-access experiences and performance for millions of global users and vehicles.
- Provide reliable and timely production support for mission-critical Search Platform applications and address high-priority incidents.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Familiarity with Java, preferably, or a similar programming language.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading, web applications, and event-driven architectures.
- Expertise designing and implementing caching strategies and other application performance improvements.
- Data-driven decision-making approach.
- Experience with a search engine framework is preferred.
