Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of software components for test automation.
- Plan, design, develop, debug, and execute end-to-end system tests within project timelines.
- Validate medical-care-team workflow outcomes while identifying product defects and deficiencies.
- Contribute to BDD automation and CI tests across all phases of the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure features and enablers are effective.
- Develop and use tools and tests to improve product development and performance.
- Contribute to complex product development testing through release and lead one technical area of expertise.
- Participate in code reviews using design principles, coding standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to competitive and market strategy through knowledge of market, customer, and competitive dynamics.
- Travel approximately 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of work experience.
- Proficiency with Linux and Java environments and web- and mobile-based applications.
- Experience with RHEL, MSSQL, Selenium, Appium, iOS, Android, Java, and Kotlin is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BDD test automation frameworks and CI/CD, particularly in hybrid-cloud environments.
- Experience with Gherkin, AWS, and Azure is preferred.
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies, clean architecture, and end-to-end system testing and automation.
- Experience with scalability, longevity, or chaos engineering is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, documentation, learning, and technology-adoption abilities.
