Base Salary
$105k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance compiler toolchains and programming tools for code running on DSPs, CPUs, NSPs, and microcontrollers.
- Design and develop developer tools such as debuggers, linkers, profilers, converters, and optimizers.
- Build bit-exact functional and timing-accurate simulators for off-target software execution.
- Synthesize and run application benchmarks and optimize compilation for performance and power efficiency.
- Apply processor architecture, programming-language, algorithm, scheduling, memory-management, parallel-execution, and optimization concepts.
- Develop compiler features and intermediate-representation optimizations using technologies such as LLVM, GCC, MLIR, Halide, and TVM.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of combined academic and/or professional experience with compilers or tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of software development, processor architecture, debugging, recovery techniques, systems concepts, algorithms, data structures, and heuristics.
- Ability to communicate basic, routine factual information verbally and in writing.
