Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and validation of secure and scalable software components for assigned products and subsystems.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership for desktop, web, and hybrid application development using C# and .NET.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and requirements analysis.
- Collaborate across time zones with North American R&D and global stakeholders to communicate status, resolve issues, and influence technical decisions.
- Organize teams and development processes to support efficient, accountable, and on-time product delivery.
- Investigate complex software and system issues and translate product requirements into innovative, well-tested solutions.
- Mentor engineers and guide the team toward high efficiency and reliable product delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 14+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software products.
- Hands-on expertise in software architecture and backend development using C# and .NET.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, domain modeling, and system design.
- Experience building desktop and web applications with .NET Framework 4.5, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, Razor components, and Visual Studio.
- Experience with UML modeling and design tools such as Enterprise Architect and MS Visio.
- Understanding of MongoDB and PostgreSQL, performance tuning, and debugging with dotTrace and NProfiler.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
- Strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred experience designing and developing scientific or analytical instrumentation software in regulated life sciences or diagnostics domains.
- Preferred experience delivering AI-powered platform capabilities or applications, including LLM-based systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation patterns.
