Base Salary
$126k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination algorithms for air and missile threats.
- Develop high-performance real-time software that processes radar sensor data and maintains tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets.
- Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter.
- Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to support successful deployment and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Experience with tracking, estimation, or filtering algorithms such as Kalman filters, particle filters, or multiple hypothesis tracking is preferred.
- Background in controls, estimation theory, digital signal processing, radar systems, or sensor fusion is preferred.
- Experience with multithreading, GPU acceleration, or distributed systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of machine learning for classification, clustering, or data association is preferred.
- Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, or time-series databases is preferred.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, or Node.js for visualization and analysis tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, or custom modeling and simulation frameworks is preferred.
- An active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.
