Base Salary
$158k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cloud onboarding for business units, applications, and teams across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Design and govern secure landing zones, multi-account and tenant structures, resource hierarchies, tagging standards, IAM, SSO, policies, and RBAC.
- Implement encryption, KMS, VPC Service Controls, privileged access management, and audit logging controls.
- Address security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps and lead audits and remediation strategies.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code templates and automation pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, Flux, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Drive cloud financial management through rightsizing, storage tiering, idle-resource elimination, and architecture reviews.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with InfoSec, product, backend, and customer-facing teams on infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of CloudOps, engineering, or software architecture experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one major public cloud, particularly AWS or GCP, with familiarity with Azure and OCI.
- Expertise in multi-cloud IAM, organization and project design, security policies, logging, monitoring, and access controls.
- Strong automation and Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform, Python, and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with cloud financial management and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and engineer-mentoring experience.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of SOX, FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO, and HIPAA; FedRAMP operational controls experience; customer-cloud and external-environment deployments; Go or Rust; and service-mesh networking with Istio, Linkerd, Envoy, or eBPF.

- U.S. base salary range of $158,000–$237,000, plus bonus potential, equity, and benefits.
