Responsibilities
- Create and refine standardized UI components with strong quality, performance, accessibility, and design fidelity.
- Conduct code reviews and implementation reviews with the Design team to ensure consistent, pixel-perfect execution.
- Publish, document, and maintain the centralized design system library.
- Integrate design system components into existing products transitioning to shared UI infrastructure.
- Consult with and mentor engineering teams on design-system usage and extension best practices.
- Build live prototypes and proofs of concept to validate new patterns, workflows, and UI paradigms.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in frontend or UI engineering.
- Proven experience working on enterprise-scale or complex professional software.
- Prior contributions to a frontend design system at scale and experience integrating UI components into a complex ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
- Expert use of AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT.
- Proficiency in Figma, including translating designs into code and collaborating on component architecture and responsive principles.
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar environments.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and UI performance optimization.
- Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and appreciation for design quality and interface details.
