Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions using Scala or Java and AWS services.
- Own end-to-end delivery and high- and low-level design for specific features.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and global technology teams on opportunities, roadmaps, and technical decisions.
- Drive code quality, testing, continuous improvement, and technical debt reduction.
- Develop complex features while maintaining engineering excellence.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
