Responsibilities
- Deliver large production software projects and maintain key code repositories.
- Break down complex problems, ensure predictable delivery, and identify and resolve incident root causes.
- Lead technical strategy, architecture and design reviews, and operational response.
- Write production code and improve maintainability, availability, performance, observability, and developer tooling.
- Integrate AI technologies into product capabilities and care-delivery workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, Quality, and engineering teams from discovery through production.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and document solutions for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience with at least one software programming language and the full software development life cycle.
- 3+ years of experience with React.js and Node.js/TypeScript.
- 1+ years of experience mentoring and leading junior team members, collaborating cross-functionally, and contributing to planning and decision-making.
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in production.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LangChain, and LangGraph.
- Preferred experience includes backend and distributed systems, production generative AI integrations, reliability engineering, observability, workflow orchestration, media processing, event streaming, CI/CD automation, and healthcare or regulated environments.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers or serving as a technical lead for a platform, migration, or cross-functional launch.
