Responsibilities
- Define and implement SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and postmortems.
- Build and standardize observability capabilities across metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, alerting, and correlation.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis to drive continuous reliability improvement.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for deployment, validation, and operational workflows.
- Integrate monitoring and observability signals with ServiceNow ITSM incidents, changes, and indicator tasks.
- Design reusable automation components, pipelines, roles, and validation frameworks.
- Operate within OT/PCN environments while following security, segmentation, and compliance standards.
- Use SolarWinds and other infrastructure or compliance telemetry to improve operational visibility.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, platform teams, technical leads, and vendor partners.
- Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, operational guides, and other technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience operating production systems with a strong focus on observability and reliability engineering.
- Hands-on experience with SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience integrating monitoring and operations with ServiceNow ITSM workflows.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of metrics, logs, traces, alerting, and correlation.
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments, preferably OT/PCN.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
- Preferred: experience in industrial or OT environments such as oil and gas, utilities, or manufacturing.
- Preferred: familiarity with SolarWinds or similar observability and compliance platforms.
- Preferred: experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping, CMDB, or automation integrations.
- Preferred: exposure to Ansible and reusable design patterns.
- Preferred: knowledge of CIS, NIST, or ISA/IEC 62443 security and compliance frameworks.
- Preferred: experience working in Agile delivery models with backlog-driven development.
