Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end Infrastructure as Code delivery for one or more Azure or Google Cloud AI services through Terraform design, pipeline integration, production rollout, and Day-2 operations.
- Build secure self-service platform abstractions, reusable GitHub Actions workflows, Python CLIs and SDKs, and standardized developer golden paths.
- Lead cloud architecture decisions across Azure and Google Cloud while balancing capability, cost, performance, regulatory fit, and developer experience.
- Implement RBAC/IAM, federated identity, private networking, certificate and PKI lifecycle management, secrets management, policy-as-code, and audit workflows.
- Develop secure generative-AI consumption patterns including private endpoints, RAG architectures, model gateways, content filtering, prompt-shield controls, MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, and evaluation tooling.
- Lead code reviews, establish standards for IaC quality and testing, mentor engineers, and contribute to roadmap planning, build-versus-buy analysis, vendor evaluations, and cross-team alignment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of cloud platform or infrastructure engineering experience with deep Infrastructure as Code delivery on Azure or Google Cloud.
- Expert-level Terraform experience covering module design, composition, workspaces, testing, drift management, and pipeline patterns.
- Strong Python experience for SDK integrations, CLI and tooling development, automated testing, packaging, and observability hooks.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms, including reusable workflows, environments, OIDC-based cloud authentication, deployment gating, and secret management.
- Demonstrable experience deploying and operating AI/ML services on Azure or Google Cloud, including services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure Bot Service, Azure ML, Vertex AI, BigQuery, or Pub/Sub.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of cloud networking, including VNets/VPCs, NSGs/firewall rules, hub-spoke and shared VPC patterns, private endpoints, ExpressRoute, DNS, and hybrid routing topologies.
