Responsibilities
- Design, document, and evolve the public REST and Server-Sent Events API surface, including OpenAPI specifications and generated partner clients.
- Implement and maintain React and TypeScript frontends for real-time vehicle dashboards, vehicle variant management, partner portals, configuration, and scenario tooling.
- Integrate glTF vehicle assets using three.js or react-three-fiber, including scenes, cameras, loading, and performance tuning.
- Build schema-driven developer experience tooling including typed clients, runtime validation, mocks, contract tests, and generated documentation.
- Own resilience for streaming UI components through reconnection, backpressure, and multiplexed event handling.
- Participate in API design reviews and create written guides for external integration partners.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product designers, and international contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of production experience with React and TypeScript, including end-to-end type safety.
- Hands-on experience designing and evolving OpenAPI 3.x specifications and related validators, mocks, and client generators.
- Strong schema-first experience with Zod, JSON Schema, and runtime validation at system boundaries.
- Working understanding of REST, Server-Sent Events, and WebSocket protocols.
- Practical browser-based 3D experience with three.js or react-three-fiber, including scenes, cameras, glTF loading, and basic performance tuning.
- Experience with code reviews and collaboration with backend and design counterparts.
- Fluent English.
- Preferred: frontend integration testing with Playwright or Cypress, including visual regression workflows.
- Preferred: partner- or developer-facing technical writing such as HOWTOs, integration guides, and release notes.
- Preferred: experience working in multi-site, multinational, and multi-contributor teams; automotive product knowledge is a plus.
