Responsibilities
- Build real-time treasury and financing systems used across global trading time zones.
- Design and implement scalable C#/.NET services and APIs processing trades, financing, and liquidity data with low latency and high reliability.
- Partner with traders, funding managers, and operations to translate business requirements into production software.
- Lead the adoption and continuous improvement of DevOps, source control, continuous integration, and automated deployment workflows.
- Develop responsive front-end components using React or another modern front-end framework.
- Implement automated unit and integration testing and Test-Driven Development workflows.
- Operate and support production systems, diagnose elevated incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive remediation.
- Evaluate and introduce technologies and architecture patterns that improve performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Collaborate with and mentor a distributed development team across the USA, Poland, and India.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical or scientific field.
- 8–12 years of object-oriented programming experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem in a financial domain.
- Production development experience with React or another modern front-end framework.
- Significant experience with relational databases, primarily Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and query tuning.
- Experience writing automated and unit tests and applying Test-Driven Development practices.
- Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns, distributed systems, microservices, observability and monitoring, and Docker containerization.
- Experience with DevOps practices, source control, and continuous integration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Experience providing production application support, diagnosing incidents, and implementing remediation and stability improvements.
- Experience working on distributed development teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
