Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain system services, libraries, and resource managers for the QNX Neutrino RTOS.
- Develop or adapt bootloaders such as U-Boot and support initial board bring-up using hardware debuggers.
- Integrate software components, debug system-level issues, and help maintain build and test pipelines.
- Analyze and optimize QNX boot time and runtime resource usage.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects and contribute to technical discussions and quality improvements.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in embedded C/C++ development for POSIX operating systems, preferably including QNX.
- Experience with embedded hardware software development or integration, ideally including Board Support Packages.
- Familiarity with bootloader concepts and hardware initialization.
- Foundational low-level hardware debugging knowledge, such as JTAG, is a plus.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows is preferred.
- Interest in system performance optimization and analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards is an advantage.
- Very good English skills.
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
