Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QNX Neutrino system services, libraries, and resource managers.
- Contribute to bootloader development and adaptation, including U-Boot, and support initial board bring-up with hardware debuggers.
- Integrate software components, debug system-level issues, and help maintain CI/CD build and test pipelines.
- Analyze and optimize QNX boot time and runtime resource usage.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects on technical discussions and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in embedded C/C++ development for POSIX operating systems, preferably including QNX.
- Familiarity with bootloader concepts and hardware initialization.
- Experience developing or integrating software for embedded hardware, ideally including Board Support Packages.
- Foundational low-level hardware debugging knowledge, such as JTAG, is a plus.
- Experience with version control such as Git and basic CI/CD pipelines.
- Interest in system performance optimization and analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards is an advantage.
- Very good English skills.
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
