Responsibilities
- Own complex feature areas and large-scale solutions end to end, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance.
- Lead architecture and design discussions and make decisions supporting scalability, resiliency, performance, security, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Build and operate modern web applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
- Develop automation, CI/CD pipelines, deployment frameworks, progressive rollouts, validation processes, and rollback plans.
- Ensure service health and operational readiness, serve as a designated responsible individual, and lead incident response and reliability improvements.
- Apply secure development, privacy, accessibility, regulatory, and compliance practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, architecture, business, customer, and partner teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, design-review participation, and organizational influence.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of technical engineering experience involving coding in C#, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, or comparable languages.
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud services using the .NET stack.
- Experience building modern full-stack applications with .NET/C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Experience designing scalable, loosely coupled, service-oriented architectures, including reusable libraries, SDKs, and platform components.
- Hands-on experience building and operating RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, object-oriented design, coding-pattern, and testing skills.
- Experience with AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio or VS Code Agent Mode, and custom prompt or tool-integrated agents.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, mentor others, and adopt emerging technologies.
