Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation frameworks for embedded firmware verification and validation.
- Develop test cases, assess automation feasibility, and develop and execute automation scripts.
- Perform software and hardware testing of communication power-supply products, modules, and systems.
- Conduct HIL testing, communication-interface and protocol testing, debugging, and hardware test setup troubleshooting.
- Verify product reliability, specifications, certification compliance, and NPD requirements in coordination with UL compliance and reliability engineers.
- Formulate test stresses, test forms, and test specifications for new power-supply product functions.
- Maintain and develop communication power-supply automation test programs.
- Coordinate with production and product testing teams and follow defined processes and communication plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in power electronics, electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software test automation or power-electronics product and module testing; the posting also specifies 3 to 4 years of experience.
- At least 1 year of Java or Python experience, including at least 2 years of Python experience and at least one end-to-end automation project.
- Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of C and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of HIL testing using Vector VT System and CANoe; CAPL knowledge is preferred.
- Experience testing embedded products with web interfaces and HMIs, communication interfaces and protocols, and embedded hardware test setups.
- Experience with RS-485, Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet, TCP/IP, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
- Power-domain experience, manual testing experience, schematic reading, hardware troubleshooting, strong analytical and debugging skills, and effective English communication are preferred or required as specified.
