Responsibilities
- Define risk-based test strategies and design manual and automated tests across UI, REST/GraphQL APIs, databases, and end-to-end workflows.
- Develop, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, pytest, and Robot Framework.
- Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
- Validate API and database data flows, investigate logs and failures, and track defects and test coverage.
- Contribute to testing AI/LLM-enabled features, including response quality, tool interactions, grounding, retrieval relevance, and regression behavior.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to identify quality risks and improve QA practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of hands-on SDET or QA automation experience, including test framework development or maintenance.
- Strong programming and scripting fundamentals, with Python preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, pytest and/or Robot Framework, and SQL-based data validation; MySQL is preferred.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, analyzing failures, and tracking test coverage and execution health.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing methodologies.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and a basic understanding of operating systems.
- Exposure to JMeter or similar performance testing tools is advantageous.
- Practical familiarity with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI coding assistants is a plus.
- Understanding of Generative AI, LLM concepts, prompt engineering, model behavior, hallucinations, and structured outputs is a plus.
- Exposure to testing AI/LLM applications, RAG, agentic workflows, MCP, function/tool calling, golden datasets, and LLM-as-judge evaluation is a plus.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, Langfuse, and AI observability practices is a plus.
