Responsibilities
- Design and work with UI and API automation frameworks using page object and data-driven patterns.
- Define testing strategies and approaches for software systems.
- Write and execute automated test scripts and manual functional test cases.
- Report defects and maintain traceability using tools such as Jira.
- Collaborate with QA, development, stakeholders, and cross-functional testing teams.
- Demonstrate and present technical information to stakeholders.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and automate test cases across UI and API layers.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- In-depth experience with UI automation using Selenium and Core Java.
- Experience with API testing using SoapUI, Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate.
- Experience testing AWS and microservices environments.
- Strong Core Java knowledge, including Java 8 or above.
- Hands-on experience creating UI and API automation frameworks.
- Experience with BDD and Cucumber-based projects.
- Knowledge of JUnit and TestNG testing frameworks.
- End-to-end automation experience with Maven or Gradle, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of test management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Rally, and Confluence.
- Good knowledge of the payments domain and Agile projects.
- Ability to design automation scripts from requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience handling stakeholders or cross-functional testing teams.
