Base Salary
$81k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build, maintain, and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
- Contribute to application modernization, technical design discussions, and solution architecture.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement application performance improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Expertise with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Experience developing front-end applications with Angular versions 13–16.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, application performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Python for automation, scripting, or application development.
- Preferred knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, automated deployments, cloud migration, and application modernization.
- Prior mentoring or technical leadership experience and experience in insurance, financial services, or regulated industries are helpful.
- AWS or other relevant cloud certifications are preferred.
