Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of agentic software systems, from identifying seller problems through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Own architectural direction for multi-agent services and influence technical decisions across dependent systems.
  • Collaborate with applied scientists, engineering teams, and product managers to deliver production-grade GenAI features.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, support recruiting and technical assessments, and provide career guidance.
  • Evaluate generative AI tooling and responsibly refine model outputs while applying effective data structures and algorithms.
  • Write production code, review technical designs, align service interface contracts, debug complex issues, and drive engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services.
  • Preferred: Experience using generative AI tools, crafting effective prompts, and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs professionally.
