Base Salary
$230k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build core monetization systems for ChatGPT Ads.
- Build and operate services and pipelines covering event capture, validation, aggregation, pricing, metering, and billable outputs.
- Define the source of truth for ads monetization data through schemas, data models, and consistency invariants.
- Own correctness and reconciliation with invoicing and finance requirements through controls, monitors, investigations, and backfills.
- Develop billing integrations for ChatGPT and API users across the stack.
- Collaborate with Ads Engineering, Data Science, Product, Finance, Go-To-Market, and engineering stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience.
- Significant experience developing and redeveloping distributed systems for new product capabilities and scaling challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with partners outside engineering and communicate knowledge clearly.
- Ability to work quickly in loosely defined environments with competing priorities or deadlines.
- Ads systems experience is preferred but not required.
