Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build distributed systems supporting seller fee technology.
  • Own software delivery end to end, including requirements scoping, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, launch, and operational monitoring.
  • Build and maintain agentic systems focused on correctness, latency, and self-improvement loops.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, resolve incidents, reduce MTTR, contribute to postmortems, and build tooling that reduces operational maintenance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, data and applied scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders across the fee lifecycle.
  • Write design documents and architecture proposals and contribute to the three-year Agentic Architecture Plan.
  • Mentor junior engineers through pairing, design reviews, documentation, and code reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and execution optimization.
