Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, process, and store petabyte-scale log-level advertising data from ad servers, exchanges, and SSPs.
- Develop ETL workflows that convert raw event-level data into queryable, analysis-ready formats.
- Create and maintain APIs for efficient access to log-level data by analytics teams and data scientists.
- Implement data quality checks, validation logic, and monitoring for pipelines and services.
- Optimize data-processing jobs and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Debug and resolve production issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Document systems, processes, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
